Last Wednesday I was taking my daughter to an appointment and had a few hours to kill. I stopped in to this acupuncture place and loved it! I had acupuncture 3 years ago. I did 3 sessions and liked it, but it was expensive. The doctor didn't seem as interested in my overall health and specific areas I was working on, so it just fizzled out and I didn't go back.
I went back this morning for my second session today (I bought a 12 session package) and I am even more impressed with the two doctors there.
If you are interested in acupuncture, AK (applied kiniseology- muscle testing), cupping, meridian testing , chiropractic and more give them a call. What I love most of all is that my first session was only $65. The guy at the front desk said that the doctor will spend 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours on my first visit to check my height, weight and all the vitals. Then he hooked me up to this computer for this elaborate meridian testing. Its cool because he shows you where in your body that your Chi is low and needs acupuncture treatment. Then he goes over symptoms you have and what you are looking for from acupuncture. He does laser balancing, herbal acupuncture and puts these magnetic beads in your ears to help with energy. Dr Zhang really cares and takes his time with you. My second visit was 1 1/2 hours long. My previous experience with acupunture was 40 minutes long and no consultation and it was $100 a session. I didn't feel I got enough from it to keep going, although I did love how I felt after acupuncture- great energy for the next few days.
Here is the information if anyone is interested in calling him. He has a receptionist but many times he will answer the phone. Their names are Dr. Lei Zhang and Dr. Reza Hamati. They are both chiropractors and acupuncturists. Dr. Zhang came to america 15 years ago to teach acupucture at a school here in Dallas. Now he performs chiropractic and acupuncture full time in his own practice. They take insurance, but if you don't have it, its only $65 a visit and as low as $50 if you buy a package- thats what I did. When you go each time, they do multiple treatments, basically whatever your body needs. He did the AK, acupuncture, magnets, laser and cupping on my second visit. Plus a little acupressure on my neck and shoulders. What a deal!

Tell them I sent you!!! I told Dr. Zhang I was going to tell all my clients and friends about him because I loved it there and I feel great! I have lost 3 pounds in 4 days after my last session. He did a few points for weight loss to aid me in losing some weight. Along with my hypnosis, I should be a rail soon! LOL The acupunture is for stimulating the organs and metabolism and hypnosis helps with behaviors to help with weight loss. Write me if you like with any questions or comments.
